501 West 9th Street in Wilmington, Delaware

In October of 2009, Connections formed Connect to Work, Inc., a subsidiary economic development company with the mission to create jobs for individuals who are hard to employ because of criminal records, disabilities and/or low rates of educational attainment. Connect to Work’s primary focus is the development of small businesses in which reentering prisoners, homeless persons, and adults with disabilities can obtain competitive employment in a recessionary economy.

A & G Steak Shop will provide employment to people with disadvantages and disabilities through their participation in Connections’ culinary arts training program and provide an opportunity to learn in a restaurant setting. The employees of A & G are participants in Connections’ reentry program through a grant funded by the U.S. Department of Labor. A & G’s is apart of the Wilmington business district and encompassed by the Quaker Hill, West Center City, and Trinity Vicinity neighborhoods.
